DIE GEISTER DES EBENHOLZ, 2023 (EXCERPT)
Inkjet on paper
36 Posters, 84 cm x 59.4 cm each
The early spider orchid (Ophrys sphegodes) was last seen in Liechtenstein in 1961 in the area of Ebenholz, in the municipality of Vaduz. Fifty years before, this orchid had still been present there in large numbers. But since then, it counts as extinct – what happened? The poster series searches for the connections between the eventful (human) history in this area and the quiet disappearance of the plant.
